Indications: | IgG deficiency is associated with recurrent pyogenic infections. Congential absence of IgG or low levels may be found in male infants presenting with recurrent infecton. Elevated levels of a single immunoglobulin class are seen in myeloma. A predominant increase of IgG is found in infections, auto-iumme disease and chronic active hepatitis. IgM - Gamma globulin fraction of plasma proteins. Protects blood stream. Primary response to antigen. Lyes bacteria.
