Essential Fatty Acids

Essential Fatty Acids are extremely important nutritional components of the diet, and are often deficient in patients. They are needed for the control of a wide range of metabolic functions and are required for the integrity of the structure of every cell in the body. They influence the efficiency and integrity of many systems within the body, including immune, endocrine, brain, reproductive functions, to name but a few. In most patients abnormalities can be corrected by dietary changes and supplements.
